Watching one child is different than a day care service, where they will charge less. If you feel uncomfortable taking $10 an hour, then drop it to $7 or $8. I do think that is a fair price though because taking care of a baby is no easy task (as you well know). Also, she should provide all the diapers, etc.

If your sister is willing to pay 10$ an hour she must have a very good job! I pay 2.70$ an hour for my daycare and thats about average where I live. So, yes I think 7 or 8 would be very fair

I would also think $10 an hour is extremely high. I would never be able to afford daycare at that rate. Since it is family and although it varies the amount of hours you will watch the baby every day, I would suggest around $75-$100 a week. This is half of the price of traditional center daycares for a week.
